Once upon a time there lived a little girl named Alisha. Tomorrow was her birthday and she was very excited. Her aunt was promising to give her something magic! Tomorrow came, and her aunt gave her a big box painted blue, yellow, red and white with pink spots.
“Open it quickly,” said all her friends. She opened it and inside was a magic carpet! The party ended, and she took the magic carpet into her bedroom. She didn’t know how to control it, so she let it fly away anywhere. Suddenly there was trouble! A witch caught her magic carpet and took her to her house and shut the door!
Locked in the witch’s bedroom she shivered with fright. Since seven o’clock in the morning she’d been there. Suddenly she had an idea! She opened a window, jumped down, but couldn’t get out! So she found one of the witch’s broomsticks, and flew over the hedge.
Then she flew home and lived happily ever after with her mum and dad.
